The Colombian Automotive Company SA, in its commitment to the people see the need to create a foundation to support the Art and Science, so comes the Mazda Foundation for Art and Science, whose goal is nothing more than the sponsor training in the area of pure mathematics and theoretical physics and the area of artistic expression of music.
General Policies for the Call 2013
- Scholarships are awarded for postgraduate study in Colombia or abroad, in theoretical physics, pure mathematics and music.
- The scholarships will be awarded abroad preferably in studies where there is a similar program in Colombia.
- The duration of the scholarship will vary, depending on the requested studies, with a limit of two years.
- The scholarships are awarded annually by the Selection Committee of the Foundation.
- The deadline for filing applications for scholarships opens October 1 and closes on December 15, 2012.
- Selection will be made in the month of January 2013.

Masters and Doctorates
- Charter scholarship application, addressed to the President of the Mazda Foundation for Art and Science.
- Updated resume student.
- Two letters of recommendation from professors with whom you have studied.
- Letter of admission from the institution where he is studying or which begin graduate studies and / or PhD.
- Ratings studies in the areas in which support is requested.
- Results obtained in the State examination QUALITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION (Saber Pro, ECAES), where it is relevant (Physics, Mathematics)
IMPORTANT: As of this call will not be awarded for Musical Undergraduate support, applications will only be accepted for postgraduate, masters and doctorates.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
- All correspondence must be filed directly at the seat of the Mazda Foundation for Art and Science or mailed door to door.
- The full and timely shipment documentation does not guarantee the scholarship, which is subject to the decision of the Committee of the Foundation.
- Should be favored, the documentation is retained to support the granting of the scholarship.
- People that are not favored, shall request the return of the documents no later than fifteen (15) calendar days from the official date of delivery of the scholarships, otherwise the documents, material and exhibits will be destroyed without that may apply to any claim.
Extensions to scholarships:
The scholarships are renewed every six months. The extension of scholarship renewal application required by the grantee. Applications are studied in June and November of each year should therefore be filed in May and October.
Requirements for extensions:
Extension request letter addressed to the President of the Mazda Foundation for Art and Science.
Two (2) letters of recommendation from professors at the University for the semester you are enrolled.
Excellent result in sustained academic qualifications. Your submission must be performed once the semester culminates.
